Is it true love or just infatuation?

They said there is a thin line

Between love and infatuation

One has to make sure that

If the feeling is true or mere attraction

Infatuation is attraction intensified

A feeling that last for a moment

It is always mistaken with true love

But when circumstances came it fades

Whereas love is not simply a four-letter word

Because it contains a lot of meaning

Love always knows right from wrong

That it comes in a right time.

Love goes beyond a kind of feeling

It is a relational commitment

More than what the heart beats

That mind must agree as well

People always have the reason

Why they love someone

Some are gotten by looks or possession

Some by intelligence or good deeds

But a famous writer once said

That love is simply love

And don't ask too many questions

You love because you love

Never be afraid to make a difference

Never hesitate to make a difference

Knowing that you are a limitless being

Always aim for excellence

And ignore the mediocre thinking.

Do not stop learning and discovering

New things are yet to uncover

Life is brief and passing

To stay on your shell forever

Go beyond the borders

Do not settle for less

You'll soon know yourself more

If you always do your best

When in some point you fail

And have many discouragements

You only fail because

You give up the trail.

Life is a Bittersweet Blend

It takes courage to realize

That life is a battle

Trials add flavorful spice

To a life's unending trouble.

Do not give up on a fight

Failure is not an option

Just take it easy and light

Even in much pressure and tension.

But do not  look at the negative side,

You always end up a loser

Good things sometimes try to hide

It's up for you to discover

There are lot of things to ponder

Knowing that life is coupled with joy and pain

But  you should need to consider

That life is a bittersweet blend.

THERE ISN'T A DAY YOU AREN'T SPECIAL TO ME MOM

A letter with much love and appreciation <3

I wrote and dedicate this poem to the most beautiful woman in my life - my mother!

When things go wrong

And I am not that strong

To face the strangest things in life

Tragedy, disaster, hunger and strife.

You've always been there

To lend a helping hand

Able to stand like no other

When things must be said and done.

You said hope is in the corner

When giving up is stronger

You took courage as ever

When darkness is everywhere.

There isn't a day you aren't special to me mom,

I love you wholeheartedly

You seem brighter than sun and moon

Each night and day.

Life and love you gave to me

Knowing that it's difficult to pay

Your comfort and care will always be

Ever wonderful to me.

If this world would teach me

To live life in much pleasure and luxury

But you taught me to live life

And that's to live it simply

I sometimes fail to appreciate

That the best things in life are free

It seems that money can't equate

The joy of giving and loving selflessly.

There isn't a day you aren't special to me mom,

I'm blessed that God gave you to me

Oh, I can't imagine that day

When God call you in eternity.
